ALIVE is committed to providing services to our community during and beyond the COVID-19 emergency. To safeguard the health and safety of our clients, staff, and partners, the agency has modified operations as needed.

Today, we offer essential economic and cultural integration services, including English classes, employment, orientation, and citizenship preparation. We also host events and make presentations to build inclusive and mutually respectful relationships between foreign-born newcomers and all community members.

The Victim Services Unit helps crime victims, witnesses, and their families to overcome the effects of crime. We will help you understand your rights, provide information, counseling services, and overall help and support throughout the criminal justice process.

The Women’s Safe House mission is to empower women and families to rebuild their lives free of domestic abuse through emergency services, education and advocacy.

YWCA Metro St. Louis provides crisis intervention and a variety of services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as educational programs for friends and family of someone impacted by violence.

The mission of the AWARE program is to make the health care system and the community at large a healthier place for those affected by intimate partner abuse by helping reduce or remedy the effects of intimate partner violence on their lives.

St. Louis County's Kathy J. Weinman Shelter for Victims of Domestic Violence (KJW) provides a safe haven for those who have experienced domestic violence and specific interventions for each family served. The shelter offers a comprehensive program for children and youth in conjunction with their parents to help them process and cope with the aftermath of intimate partner violence.

NCJWSTL is inspired by Jewish values to advance social and economic justice for all women, children and families.

Safe Connections’ award-winning, nationally-accredited programs reduce the impact and incidence of domestic and sexual violence through youth education, 24-hour crisis care, and therapy for adult and teen survivors.

Founded in 2009, the mission of the St. Louis County Domestic Violence Court is to increase safety for victims and their children, increase accountability for offenders and establish a coordinated community response to domestic violence from the justice system and partner agencies.

The VA’s Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program is committed to helping Veterans, their partners and also VA staff who are impacted by IPV. If you or someone you know could be experiencing and/or using IPV – help is available.

CVC’s mission statement is to “empower people impacted by crime to move from crisis to resiliency.” The primary focus of the agency is to reduce to negative effects of crime for individuals, families, and communities in a trauma informed and holistic approach. The Crime Victim Center serves over 7,000 people impacted by crime annually within the St. Louis Metropolitan Region.

Since 1956, we have provided free legal help for more than 1 million low-income individuals/families with civil issues impacting housing, family law, public benefits, consumer fraud, healthcare, children’s well-being, special education and relief from domestic violence. In recent years, services have expanded to address the specific needs of immigrant and refugee families, veterans, community economic development and small-business and minority entrepreneurs. Legal Services now has four offices – St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Hannibal and Union – that serve 21 Missouri counties from the Iowa border to Potosi.

ROW provides financial sustainability services, advocacy, therapy, and wraparound support for women, many of whom have been impacted by domestic violence and economic hardship. ROW focuses on the economic and social context in which women find themselves and builds upon their current strengths as women and as parents.

Saint Martha’s provides shelter, resources and compassionate care for women and children experiencing domestic violence.

Helping survivors of sexual violence heal through music. You can make a difference in the life of a survivor of sexual assault. Your donation helps provide life-affirming music therapy for survivors in crisis. Music therapy helps survivors cope with trauma, while regaining their confidence and their voice.

The Victim Service Division of the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is available to help if you or someone you know has been the victim of a crime.
