The Victim Services Unit helps crime victims, witnesses, and their families to overcome the effects of crime. We will help you understand your rights, provide information, counseling services, and overall help and support throughout the criminal justice process.
Kathy J. Wienman Shelter

St. Louis County's Kathy J. Weinman Shelter for Victims of Domestic Violence (KJW) provides a safe haven for those who have experienced domestic violence and specific interventions for each family served. The shelter offers a comprehensive program for children and youth in conjunction with their parents to help them process and cope with the aftermath of intimate partner violence.
St. Louis County Domestic Violence Court

Founded in 2009, the mission of the St. Louis County Domestic Violence Court is to increase safety for victims and their children, increase accountability for offenders and establish a coordinated community response to domestic violence from the justice system and partner agencies.
Crime Victim Center

CVC’s mission statement is to “empower people impacted by crime to move from crisis to resiliency.” The primary focus of the agency is to reduce to negative effects of crime for individuals, families, and communities in a trauma informed and holistic approach. The Crime Victim Center serves over 7,000 people impacted by crime annually within the St. Louis Metropolitan Region.
Legal Services of Eastern Missouri

Since 1956, we have provided free legal help for more than 1 million low-income individuals/families with civil issues impacting housing, family law, public benefits, consumer fraud, healthcare, children’s well-being, special education and relief from domestic violence. In recent years, services have expanded to address the specific needs of immigrant and refugee families, veterans, community economic development and small-business and minority entrepreneurs. Legal Services now has four offices – St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Hannibal and Union – that serve 21 Missouri counties from the Iowa border to Potosi.

Counseling & Advocacy
ROW provides financial sustainability services, advocacy, therapy, and wraparound support for women, many of whom have been impacted by domestic violence and economic hardship. ROW focuses on the economic and social context in which women find themselves and builds upon their current strengths as women and as parents.

Your donation helps provide life-affirming music therapy for survivors in crisis. Music therapy helps survivors cope with trauma, while regaining their confidence and their voice.
